Join The Hopebridge RTA Community!
At Hopebridge RTA, we may be a small nonprofit, but we’re making a big impact. From rescuing and training dogs to educating children on dog etiquette, we’re dedicated to creating positive change in our community. We’re especially proud of our recent projects and partnerships, including our work to turn a shelter dog into a service dog and our collaboration with local businesses.
Our Partnership With The Stark County Dog Warden
We work closely with the Stark County Dog Warden to rescue dogs in need. All the dogs we pull come exclusively from this local facility, allowing us to focus our efforts on helping animals in our own community. This partnership ensures that we can provide targeted support and care to the dogs who need it most. We also provide a free session for every family that adopts from our local pound. Thanks to our generous donors we are also able to help supply families with food, equipment and other necessary items to ensure these dogs are successful. If you just adopted from the Stark County Dog Warden please visit our training page and click on the link next to "Welcome Home"
Support From Tractor Supply Co.
We’re grateful for our partnership with Tractor Supply Co., who generously donates overstock items to support our mission. These donations help us provide essential supplies for our rescue dogs, from food and bedding to toys and grooming products.
Thanks to the generous donations from our friends at Pet Supplies Plus we are able to not only provide our rescues with the high quality food they need but we are able to help others. Thank you!
We are ever greatful for our support from Kong. Thier generous donations of toys and treats help emmensly with training and engagement!
We’re proud to share that Hopebridge RTA is now officially OhioRISE-approved for training. This recognition allows us to expand our impact by offering high-quality, approved training programs that support children, families, and communities across Ohio

Held at Metzger Park in Louisville, Peyton did all the playing and organizing under the guidance of her Honors teacher Ms. Debra Slutz and we are so proud of the time and efforst she put into this project. Just maybe it will become an annual event!
From Shelter To Service Dog
We are thrilled to share that thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we successfully raised funds to train a shelter dog as a service dog. This initiative not only provides a second chance for a deserving dog but also helps someone in need by offering them a trained service companion. Your contributions made this possible, and we can’t wait to share updates on this journey.
Classroom Visits
We’re committed to teaching children how to safely interact with dogs. Our beagle, Brailey, loves visiting classrooms to show kids the right way to approach, pet, and care for dogs, fostering kindness and respect for animals.
Rescue Brailey surrounded by excited schoolchildren during one of our visits, where we teach kids about proper dog etiquette and the importance of kindness to animals.
